The Allen Americans began play in the Central Hockey League in the 2009-10 season. The Americans play at the Allen Event Center located in The Village at Allen. The Americans won Back-To-Back CHL Champions. The Americans began play in the ECHL beginning in 2014-15 season. 2015 ECHL Kelly Cup Champions & 2016 ECHL Kelly Champion. 2016-17 ECHL Mountain Division Champion.
